Two Campuses. One Community.

“Life is better when we work together.”

Welcome to Athenry Primary School, a vibrant, inclusive and caring school community where every child is valued, every achievement is celebrated and every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

As a dual-campus school, we are proud of our shared heritage, rooted in Scoil Chroí Naofa and Athenry Boys’ School. Across both campuses, we work together to create a positive and stimulating environment where children feel safe, supported and excited about learning.

Our six core values – Community, Respect, Kindness, Support, Wellbeing and Creativity – are at the heart of everything we do. They shape our relationships, guide our actions and help us build a school where everyone belongs.

Our dedicated staff work in partnership with families and the wider community to nurture confident, happy and curious learners. As we look forward to our new 24-classroom school, we remain committed to providing the very best educational experiences for the children of Athenry.

We are delighted you are here and invite you to explore our website to discover more about our school, our achievements and our community.

Fáilte romhaibh go léir – you are all very welcome!
